Friday night was again spent at a single venue with an extensive line up. ¬†Rocker Stalker buddied up with CitizenMusic and The Waster to showcase a wide range of local talent at Don Pedro’s in Brooklyn.¬† Hopped up rock n rollers Wyldlife set the night off.¬† Brash and solid Asbury Park-born duo, Brick +Mortar, kept the evening rolling along with power pop/rock group, Walnuts, and electro-rock en Espanol in the form of Concertina.¬† The Gypsy West mesmerized with ever-changing tempos and intricate guitar work, and ¬†Vulture Shit, the only band I had not had the privilege to see previously, BLEW MY MIND with their noisy punk craft, speedy abilities on drums and bass, and memorable delivery, including a single light bulb suspended from the ceiling and flung around in the darkness.¬† Last but not least, Black Wing Halo‚Äôs dynamic performance and driving force wrapped the night on a high.
