Since hearing and covering Semi Precious Weapons beginning in early 2008, I know one thing remains the same: these guys never sacrifice being themselves for ANYONE. With two full lengths, We Love You and You Love You, an EP, international and national tours (notably with Lady Gaga), and a relocation from New York to LA under their belt, fans everywhere (literally) have been awaiting new SPW tunes. The day has arrived!
Unlike their previous hard/party/glam rock material, the new single, “Aviation High” is an epic electro-dance based track. It’s equally as catching, though, and demonstrates a step toward a fresh outfit for SPW as well as the band’s eclectic influences and talents. And, did I mention it’s already #1 on Soundcloud on it’s debut day?
