My socks were sufficiently rocked and my face, utterly melted last night by a double dose of satisfying rock ‘n roll spirit.
The Hunt Club broke in the upstairs lounge at Bowery Electric a bit more (It only recently opened for performance purposes), and the band played a solid set drawn from their recent record Hello Futures.
My patience grew thing waiting for Alberta Cross to get back in town, but the wait was finally over and the five-piece, though presumable tired from a 2 month tour, gave it their all at Bowery Ballroom and we ecstatic to be home. The evening was quite the finale, performing superb set of old and new material and a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Bitch.” 🙂
