Tonight at Mercury Lounge has quite the line-up. VIVA MAYDAY kicks off the evening with big news, the release of their full-length record Consuela.  Everyone who comes to the show will go home with a hard copy in hand!  Not a bad start! Keeping the caliber high, Brooklyn’s The Click Clack Boom will be entertaining the “late” show alongside quirky NY scene favorite, The Gay Blades, who apparently have quite the show planned…Come find out for yourself! Doors at 7:30pm, 21+, $10!

Although Black Wing Halo are no strangers to the Mercury Lounge stage, tonight is special, as the band headlines the LES favorite. We Run joins them for the late show.  Come enjoy the the AC and get your face melted by something other than the NYC heat!  Doors at 9pm, 21+, $10.

It’s that time again, as Outernational begins another tour. The quintet will be hitting the Bowery Electric stage tonight for their only New York gig until the fall.  Don’t miss it! Doors are at 10:30pm and for those of you who hate Diet Coke, there will be free beer from 11pm-12am. $10, 21+ See you there!

The masters of keeping gritty blues and old time rock ‘n roll  alive, The Dead Exs,  are serving up a brand new single for the 4th of July.  Recorded at Converse’s Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, “Relovolution,” which is available for free download below, showcases the New York-based duo’s signature slide guitar-driven garage blues merged with energetic rockabilly, teasing fans with a fun track that builds anticipation for the rest of The Dead Exs upcoming record.
