Venue hopping on a Friday night, I caught a tre of sets. At the starting line were twangy rockers, Hollis Brown, who recently released a new track, “Gypsy Black Cat,” from their upcoming record which was crafted in what better place, than Nashville. Mixing it up, the band blew through a few of their recent album, When the Weather’s Warm’s tunes, along with other newbies.
Pianos welcomed to the stage, brooding, punky, and funky decibel., who added a bit of beat poetry to their plethora of beats. Check out their song from their Red Light EP, “Above My Head,” from the show below. Saturday Astrology followed suit, filling the room with their belting vocals and spacey dance tracks. It was at 11, and it hurt.
