Music to My Ears…:Lights Resolve’s new video for “Happens Every Day” Out!
Posted: November 19, 2011 in EntriesFrom Lights Resolve’s recently released Feel You’re Different, “Happens Every Day” has a new video to accompany it. Spiffy fish eye lens efffects, extreme close-ups, quaking over-the-cymbal shots, cinematic lighting, and a mix of vintage-washed and “home video” quality film make for a visually engaging piece that represents the band’s dynamic character. See it for yourself, and check out Lights Resolve as they come to a city near you!
WWRSD?: Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at Brooklyn Bowl TONIGHT
Posted: November 6, 2011 in EntriesIt’s been almost three years since I’ve had to pleasure of seeing Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights aka “JTNL”live. I’m dusting off my cowboy boots for the Dallas-based quintet, who will share their sultry and sassy rock, wrought with Southern grittiness, with Brooklyn tonight at Brooklyn Bowl. Kicking of the show are Chamberlin and The Happen-Ins. Doors are at 6pm, shows starts at 8pm, and it’s only five bucks! My requests for this evening? “Devil’s Basement,” “Bright Energy,””Slow Train,” and “Gypsy Woman,” from JTNL’s albums, Pardon Me and Hott Trottin’.
