Outernational returns to their home city to rock Bowery Electric with their upcoming album’s material, debuting it to New York ears, at Bowery Electric tonight. Joining them is New Jersey-based Killing the Messenger. Doors are at 8pm and it’s 18+!

Posted: August 15, 2011 in EntriesLast night, the seventh Shakedown, an almost monthly party hosted by NYC’s The Shake was moved from The Red Door to Pianos. Let’s just say, “Bad boys, bad boys,What you gonna do? What you gonna do when they come for you?” Actually, no one was busted, but suspicions were raised about the all-ages “underground” party, forcing a relocation. Anyway, the cops couldn’t stop rock ‘n roll, and the Shake and Black Taxi played to a full house despite the last minute change in plans.

Posted: August 15, 2011 in EntriesAnother night spent at Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg brought out two of the top art forms in New York: fashion and music. In collaboration with Romantic Rock Designs, the venue presented a fashion show of pin-up type clothing and rock n roll by Aabaraki, Reckless Sons, and Black Taxi. Now, I have David Bowie stuck in my head.
