It’s true. New York is never short of things to do, but let me guide your ears toward a couple events that are sure to please and get you the most bang for your buck.

Beginning at 8pm at Arlene’s Grocery, decibel. (now a trio!), will blow your mind and be accompanied by Delaware’s Revolution, I Love You.  It’s 21+ and 10$.

Down the street and around the corner at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2, more high quality music will be brought to you by Apollo Run who hit the stage at 11pm. FREE SHOW!

If you live or happen to be in the San Francisco Bay area tomorrow, June 4, you should be doing two things: wearing flowers in your hair and going to check out New York City’s fashionista, rock re-inventors, Reckless Sons at the TEDxSF  Event.

“TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design,” and  Reckless Sons’ vocalist, Matt Butler, takes some time to ‘Entertain’  TED with some statements on the NY lifestyle, RS philosophy, and the band’s new EP, which is available for download for FREE and will be showcased at the event. You’ve got an entire day to learn all the words!

Additionally, if you were in the Brooklyn vicinity and did not catch Reckless Sons’ Memorial Day show at Rock Shop, here’s what you missed along with some shots of The Courtesy Tier, who also performed.
