WWRSD?: The Wicked Tomorrow, Click Clack Boom, Bright Light Social Hour, and Black Taxi at Mercury Lounge TONIGHT
Posted: May 25, 2011 in EntriesOk, everyone, put your helmets and your dancing shoes on. Tonight, at Mercury Lounge, four incredible bands are about to shake the house down. Music begins at 7:30pm with The Wicked Tomorrow, followed by Click Clack Boom, then out-of-town guests, Bright Light Social Hour (Austin, TX!), and Brooklyn-based Black Taxi.
Speaking of which, Black Taxi qualified for round 2 of Bandapalooza in Stamford, CT which takes place on June 2. They will have two sets at 6pm and 8pm on the outdoor stage in downtown Stamford. Check out the photos from last Friday’s round 1 at Rack n Roll!

Black Taxi was selected to play in Stamford Downtown’s Bandapalooza tonight at Rack n Roll. Six bands of the performing bands will be judged and advance to the next round of competition. an outdoor battle on Bedford Street, then three of these six bands will open at Alive@5, which will feature Third Eye Blind, Lee DeWyze, MC Hammer, Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx, Vertical Horizon, and The B-52s (yay!).
So, come on out and support! Black Taxi hits at 11pm!

Celebrating their bassist, Seth Bulkin’s birthday, the band supported Chicago’s, 90s alternative rockers Urge Overkill.
