Tonight is the first of four residency shows for blues-rock trio, The London Souls, a household name  in New York. Joining them to begin this month of sweaty rock shows at the Brooklyn Bowl is TAB the BAND at 9pm and Lyle Divinsky at 8pm. AND, it’s only $5! Come get your face melted.

With all the hype and hysteria over Charlie Sheen’s memorable quotations and outbursts, New York’s Apollo Run took it upon themselves to artfully compile the words of Sheen into a musically lovely piece with humorously interlaced “lyrics” made funnier by the band’s poignant sincerity. The video of this song escaped from YouTube and made a viral splash, catching the ears of MTV.com’s Buzzworthy and Collegehumor.com, and even landing lead vocalist, John McGrew, a live interview on KROQ FM in Los Angeles.
