Australia has some incredible bands, and my favorite is hands down, Cut Copy. The electro-rock group produces addictive and contagious music that, depending on your mood, can get you up on your feet or keep you relaxed. Their second album In Ghost Colours is a top album in the Rocker Stalker charts, and upon hearing the news a couple months back about a new Cut Copy album, I was jumping for joy. While that’s in the works, download their new song, “Where I’m Going,” for free!

WWRSD?: The Shake, Haakon’s Fault at Don Hill’s, The Walk Ons at Mercury Lounge Tonight
Posted: November 18, 2010 in EntriesIt seems that the last several posts have included NYC’s The Shake, and it’s because these boys have been busy! Tonight, they landed a last-minute gig at Don Hill’s, probably, in my opinion, one of the most bizarre venues in NY. They’ll be joined by Haakon’s Fault. The show is 21+, starts promptly at 9pm, and is $15 unless you RSVP to info@incubator-studio.com! More details here.
Also, tonight, The Walk Ons, Brooklyn-rock ‘n roll quartet will be playing some feel-good tunes at Mercury Lounge for a band birthday. Get on your dancing shoes and make your way over to the venue around 9pm. 21+ as usual, $10!
